Description

On April 1st, 1991, the NCAA National Championship landed at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis. This title game was no April Fool's Day joke, as the Duke Blue Devils and the Kansas Jayhawks were all business in their quest for the National Championship. When the final buzzer sounded, the Duke Blue Devils had won the 1991 national championship with a 72-65 victory, giving Coach Mike Krzyzewski his first national championship.

Coached by the great Mike Krzyzewski, the Blue Devils won a nail biter in the semifinals against UNLV to advance to the championship game
