Being a Die-hard Lakers fan, I am probably biased. But this season was the first when I could watch with my son and have him really enjoy it. It reminded me of the sports I watched with my dad growing up. I am sure that my son and I will continue to enjoy this DVD for years to come. I think that it is really well done and captures the best moments of the series.

Bought it for my son since he was born on the same day the Lakers won in 2010 (also the reason I missed the game). Couldn't resist watching it a few times, since he's still too young to understand what's going on, and it is fantastic! Highly recommended for any basketball fan! Can't wait to watch it again when the little man is old enough and relive this awesome series!

This dvd features a great recap of the lakers 2009-2010 nba season. However, the bonus features are absolute garbage. Seeing that this is the lakers chapionship dvd, u would think it would have bonus materials about the lakers right? not so fast. the bonus features include 30 second promotional speeches from random players, i dont see a point in that at all, and sounds of the 1,2, and 3rd rounds of the playoffs, WITHOUT the Lakers vs Jazz series and the Lakers vs Suns series. last years bonus features included the 4th quarters from some games. um...hello??? how bout the 4th quarter of game 7? nope not here. this dvd was decent but i am dissapointed overall >:(

The story of the season is fine, but compared to last years dvd, this one does not measure up. I thought there would be extras with games, and inside access on certain games through the season, but I was very dissapointed. I feel like I got ripped off, because there should have been game footage of the Lakers and not the entire NBA. Not happy with the purchase.

First let me start off by saying I was very disappointed with the overall DVD. I'm a huge lakers fan but I would say that any other team that wins a championship deserves better then just copy and pasted material that was on NBA.com's Highlights and then charged the fans [$] for it.This series between the Lakers and the Celtics was one of the biggest since 2008. Yet in the DVD it just didn't feel that way. I would say the editors didn't do the series justice. They should find the editors that did the old 2002-2003 series against the Kings and bring them back to edit. NBA needs to pick up its slack. the 2002 VHS is what got me into basketball and the lakers because of how well it was done. If I wasn't into basketball currently and I just watched this DVD, I wouldn't be intrigued. Quality:There is tons of footage which you would expect. As stated before about 60% of this DVD was material that was posted earlier on NBA's website and just pasted onto a DVD with a commentator over it. This isn't in Wide-screen format, so trying to watch this on a Wide-screen TV sucks. There is no Blu-Ray copy of the championship available. If I were to compare this DVD with any of the older VHS' of 1999-2003 championships, it just doesn't compare. The only good parts of DVD was watching the Game 6 commentary. It was done very well, when the DVD got to Game 3, there was no mention of Ron Artests game changing steal. Game 7, ending with Ron Artest's huge three that he hit, they overlooked Sasha's freethrows which kept us in the game and to win the championship. I honestly am disappointed at how this DVD was conducted and produced. If I was in charge of this... I'd be looking for new editors.
