I purchased this jersey for my 4 months old son. Since the smallest size is 12 months for infants I bought the 12 months size but he fits just right in it and he is only 14 lbs. So I would say the size runs a bit smaller. Also 2 of the buttons came off aftrr I washed it for the first time. The jersey itself looks cute and very nice but I am disappointed with the quality of the craftsmanship.
